- Administer vasoactive drugs and titrate to maintain vital signs and hemodynamics within parameters.

- Assess causative factors and history.

- Auscultate lung sounds, administer oxygen, as needed, and evaluate patient's response to oxygen therapy.

- Instruct patient/family in all procedures and adverse signs and symptoms to report

- Monitor PA pressures every hour and calculate other hemodynamic values, as ordered.

- Monitor cardiac rhythm for dysrhythmias.

- Monitor for mental status changes, decreased peripheral pulses and cold or clammy skin.

Describes a person experiencing, or at high risk to experience,
inadequate blood supply for tissue needs because of insufficient blood
