The Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans
dependents of a:
. Veteran who is rated Permanently and Totally (P&T) disabled due to a
Service-connected condition.
. Veteran who died from VA rated Service-connected condition, or who,
at the time of death, was rated Permanently and Totally disabled.
. Veteran who died on active duty and in the line of duty (not due to
misconduct).

Affairs (CHAMPVA) is a comprehensive health care program in which the VA
shares the cost of covered health care services and supplies with eligible
beneficiaries. The program is administered by the Veterans Health
Administration Office of Community Care (VHA OCC) in Denver, Colorado.
CHAMPVA plan provides health care to dependents who may qualify for VA's
Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veteran Affairs
(CHAMPVA). They must not have eligibility under TRICARE and must be
