PRODUCE A VARIETY OF MEDIUM AND SHORT-LIVED RADIOISOTOPES. IT MAY BE A
POOL-TYPE REACTOR IN BOTH ABOVE AND BELOW GROUND LEVEL, WITH FIXED OR
MOVABLE CORES, AND WITH A VARIETY OF IRRADIATION FACILITIES AND
FEATURES. IT PROVIDES POWER AND NEUTRON FLUX LEVELS SUFFICIENT FOR
MAJOR NUCLEAR RESEARCH PROGRAMS. IT IS DESIGNED TO MEET THE DIVERSE
NEEDS OF ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS, INDUSTRIAL CENTERS, A ND MEDICAL AND
