    The value of this parameter is a

    When this parameter is specified, it identifies the
    image to which the new UID is intended to be added.
    
RETURN PARAMETER DESCRIPTION
The value of this parameter is one of several possible strings:
A value >0 indicates the new SOP Instance UID that is assigned
to the image.
 
When no new SOP Instance UID can be assigned, the return value can be:
   -1, No UID specified
   -2, Cannot find image with UID xxx
   -3, Cannot use xxx to create valid UID
