Foundation Pain Index (FPI) is a multi-analyte assay with algorithmic analysis (
MAAA) that improves patient outcomes by identifying underlying, treatable causes
of pain. FPI assists providers in identifying underlying determinants of pain w
hile simultaneously indicating personalized, non-opioid pain therapies. The pain
index is reported as a singular numerical score on a scale of 1-100 which is fu
rther classified into categories representing the likelihood that detected bioch
emical abnormalities are indeed a determinant or cause of pain.
