Many varieties of reports are possible. If default reports are used then
criteria will not be asked. Defaults will report all bacteria, not
consider length of stay or antibiotic pattern, merge by specimen, and not
include a detailed report.
Criteria for Reports
Criteria can be entered that effect all of the report types printed. The
criteria include: restricting reports to only certain organisms (bacteria,
fungus, mycobacteria, parasites, and virus), selection of specific
organisms, reporting only isolates where the culture was collected a
specified time after admission, isolates matching an antibiotic pattern,
criteria to merge isolates, and whether to include detailed information on
