The following are examples of some combined options that can be executed

selection 2, allow appending of text and editing
of bracketed text for selection 3. Also these
entries will be added if not previously chosen.
1-3,A will add selections 1, 2, 3 and additional text
for this term.
at the selection prompt:
E.g. 1;text,4-5 will add selections 4, 5 and append 'text' to
selection 1 (if selection 1 was not previously
chosen this will also add selection 1).
2-3@,4/ will delete selections 2, 3 and allow you to
edit the bracketed text of selection 4 (if selection
4 was not previously chosen this will also add
