This item reflects the type of follow-up recommended
for the next follow-up sequence for the patient.
 
Code 9 (not followed) refers to those cases that the registry
may not routinely follow, for example, nonanalytic cases (class
of case codes 3, 4, and 5), carcinoma in situ of the cervix, or
cases of foreign residents.
