  * The date the message was sent. 
 
  * How many lines there are in the original message.
 
  * Who sent the message. 
 
  * How many total responses there are and how many you've read.
 
  * Whether the message is *NEW*.
A message header is displayed or printed at the top of every screen or page

  * Which basket the message is in.
when you read or print a message.
 
The message header contains:
 
  * The subject. 
 
  * The MailMan internal message identification number.
