The Health Eligibility Center (HEC) requested modifications to the
The following are the new guidelines on whether a patient means test is
current.
1. The Means Test Effective Date is between (inclusive): 1/2/2012 and
12/31/2012
2. The Mean Test Effective Date is greater than 1/1/2013 AND has a MT
Status of MT Copay Exempt, GMT Copay Required, or Pending Adjudication
3. The MT Status equals MT Copay Required
4. The MT Status equals No Longer Required
5. The Means Test Effective Date is not a future date
Enrollment System (ES) and VistA Registration, Enrollment and Eligibility
(VistA REE) software to support the requirements of the Means Test Report
for ES project 4.0.
The new requirements check whether the patient means test is current or
not. If the means test is current than the patient record is not
displayed.
