| DESCRIPTION OF ENHANCEMENTS |
1. A site reported a problem where a one-time order could not be
system parameter is not defined, the system will use the continuous order
parameters to determine the stop date, rather than the start and stop date
being equal. Then, when BCMA marks the medication as 'Given', Inpatient
Medications will expire the order. NOIS# BUT-0501-20609
2. Inpatient Medications has been asked to add the BCMA Last Action to the
order view screen. Users will begin to see BCMA ORDER LAST ACTION
MM/DD/YY HH:MM BCMA ACTION upon installation of this patch on the line
following the Med Route information. If the line ends with an * that
means that the BCMA Last Action was not made against this order, but
discontinued by the provider because it was expired due to the start and
against the previous order this order was created from due to a change or
renewal.
3. A problem was found with the date calculation for the start date for
renewal orders in PSJ*5*47. Please note: PSJ*5*47 should not be removed.
If the frequency for the order was a time other than an even number of
hours and the expected time for the new order to start was either 10am or
8pm, the date/time format stored internally contained a trailing 0. This
is an invalid date format. This patch corrects this problem. In addition
to correcting the date calculation, there is a cleanup routine to correct
stop date being the same. However, the medication still displayed in Bar
any problems in the current data. The cleanup has two phases. First, the
data is analyzed to determine if there are any problems. When the
analysis is complete, the person who installed the patch will receive a
mail message, "INPATIENT MEDS ORDER CHECK COMPLETED", indicating the check
has completed. If errors are found, the cleanup is performed and a second
message, "INPATIENT MEDS ORDER CLEANUP COMPLETED", is sent to the
installer indicating that cleanup is complete. The messages are
informational only. No action is required. NOIS# DAY-0701-41935
4. With the release of the Pharmacy Ordering Enhancements patches, two
Code Medication Administration (BCMA) V. 1.0 because of the 12-hour rule
spaces were allowed in the schedule field. In testing, it was discovered
that a user could enter the two spaces at the end of the schedule and it
was accepted by the software. The software was not intended to work this
way. Upon installation of this patch, the trailing spaces will be
stripped off the text the user enters at the schedule prompt.
for displaying one-time orders on the Virtual Due List. This patch
