| DESCRIPTION OF ENHANCEMENTS |
This patch will make changes to the IVM routines that will check and verify
the HL7 is active before creating and transmitting the HL7 data. Patch
EAS*1*96 will disable the HL7 protocols to prevent data from being sent to the
HEC system. Prior to the installation of this patch, the IVM routines did
not check for the protocols to see if they are disabled. Once this patch is
installed, the routines will make the check and stop the transmission of data
if the protocol is disabled.
