NAME USE OF XMSUB IN FM SCREEN EDITOR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION 
The Screen Editor in VA FileMan checks for the
existence of the variable XMSUB.  If XMSUB exists, the Screen Editor displays
the first 30 characters of that variable between "greater than" and "less
than" symbols (< and >) on the top ruler line of the screen.  When an original
MailMan message is edited, XMSUB contains the subject of the message; when a
response is edited, XMSUB contains an "R" concatenated with the number of the
original message.
