GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The PFSS 1B Prototype requries HL7 messages to be sent
from VistA to a Commercial Billing System.  The messages contain an EVN
segment with contents not supported by existing EVN-building utilities.  The
EN^VAFPFSEV API returns a complete EVN segment.

VARIABLES

EN^VAFPFSEV builds an EVN segment.  It inserts the
HL7 EVENT passed in the EVENT parameter into the segment.  The segment is
returned in the EVN parameter.  An error message is returned if the segment
cannot be built.
