GENERAL DESCRIPTION 
This integration agreement describes the use of the
Patient Services std_race table and fields within the PATS data migration
application. This agreement is in force only until the PATS application has
been rolled out nationally to all sites. (distributed by Standard Data
Services)

When the first test site goes to production with PATS, the EMC will be using
version 11 of the SDS database.

ID 
PATS has a foreign key reference to the ID field on the
std_race table.  This field must be populated when the data is migrated from
VistA Patient Representative into the PATS tables
HL7CODE 
When data is migrated from the VistA Patient Representative
system into PATS, the HL7 VALUE field from the VistA RACE file (file #10) is
used to look up entries on the std_race table, in order to populate the
foreign key value in the PATS_patient_race.
