| GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
CPRS requests the ability to do a direct global read of
the AD cross-reference of file 8930. The OR ALLERGY ENTERED IN ERROR
parameter has identified CLASS as one of the entity levels that can be set for
this parameter.
Because a user can belong to multiple classes and multiple classes can have
values in this parameter, the AD cross-reference is used to determine the
"parent" class of the class that is set in the parameter. The child class is
used to identify whether a user can or cannot mark an allergy as entered in
error. As a result, all higher level (parent) classes are removed from
consideration when determining if the user can take the action. If more than
one child class has a value then those will be compared against each other and
any "yes" value will allow the user to mark an allergy as entered in error.
This is a temporary agreement until The Authorization/Subsciption utility is
able to write an API to provide the above funtionality in a standardized way.
