GENERAL DESCRIPTION

XU*8.0*331 is being deployed in conjunction with the ongoing transition
to HealtheVet VistA. Interdependencies include current and future
HealtheVet applications and services.

Health Systems Design & Development Common Services Person Service
has been tasked with standing up an Administrative Data Repository
(ADR) that will store identification data.  Each person will be
enumerated with a unique identifier called a VPID (VA Person ID).  The
first person data to be enumerated - prior to migrating the data to
the ADR will be entries in the NEW PERSON file (#200).

New style index to build the "AXUPS" cross reference
when a record is added to the New Person file or fields are edited.

Process Pending Index option loops through cross reference to identify those
records that have been added or updated.  Cross reference is killed after HL7
message is generated.

Enumeration options will kill this cross reference for a record after a B01 or
B02 message is generated.  If New Person file record does not meet enumeration
requirements, cross reference is killed.
