| VIRTUAL PATIENT RECORD |
The Virtual Patient Record (VPR) application is working
on patch VPR*1*4 in support of two of its client app's, JLV and VLER. They
have requested that VPR add information about a provider's specialty area to
our data extract rpc.
Kernel developers have granted VPR access to the following two Kernel-owned
ICR's:
4911 $$TAXIND^XUSTAX
4984 Person Class (#8932.1)
VPR will first call $$TAXIND^XUSTAX to get the provider's current Person Class
ien and the corresponding X12 code; using the ien, VPR will read the Provider
Type (.01), Classification (1), and Area of Specialization (2) fields from the
Person Class file #8932.1.
VPR added as a subscriber on 1/30/15.

ORDER ENTRY/RESULTS REPORTING |
As part of patch OR*3*519, CPRS will add the capability
of querying the PDMP. As part of the query, we need to send the user's person
class information. However, we need to filter out non-individual entries that
have an INDIVIDUAL/NON (#90002) value of "N". We therefore need FileMan read
access to that field.
