GENERAL DESCRIPTION 
VistA Imaging gives permission to Laboratory Package to
call CANCEL^MAGT7MA, EDIT^MAGT7MA, NEW^MAGT7MA, REPORT^MAGT7MA .  These calls
create VistA Imaging HL7 DICOM PACS messages pertain to Anatomic Pathology
order updates. The messages are stored in PACS MESSAGE file (#2006.5) and are
processed by VistA Imaging DICOM Text gateway.

The accession area for the record in the LAB DATA
file (#63): "CY", "EM", or "SP".
LRI Input 
The inverse DATE/TIME SPECIMEN TAKEN (sub-field #.01)
of SURGICAL PATHOLOGY field (#8), CYTOPATHOLOGY field (#9) or EM field (#2) of
the LAB DATA file (#63).
EDIT 
Creates HL7 order message for accession modification.

LRI Input 
The inverse DATE/TIME SPECIMEN TAKEN (sub-field #.01)
of SURGICAL PATHOLOGY field (#8), CYTOPATHOLOGY field (#9) or EM field (#2) of
the LAB DATA file (#63).
LRSS Input 
The accession area for the record in the LAB DATA
file (#63): "CY", "EM", or "SP".
MAGNEWCASE Input 
This variable must be newed and set to 1 during
creation of a new accession.
NEW 
Creates HL7 order message for a new accession.

LAB SERVICE 
Laboratory package will call VistA Imaging routine to
generate HL7 DICOM PACS messages.
If event driver protocols, related to laboratory order updates, are available
in the future this ICR can be retired after VistA Imaging subscribes to the
protocols.
