GENERAL DESCRIPTION 
Responsibility for processing VA Community Care (VACC)
claims has changed from the VISNs/VAMCs to the Chief Business Office for
Purchased Care (CBOPC).  As a national program, staff members often require
access to multiple VistA systems in order to perform their duties.  Four new,
role-based menus are being created for use as a primary menu in accessing
remote VistA systems via CAPRI.  VACC staff need to be able to use the Fee
Basis Claims System (FBCS) connected to different VistA systems in order to
process claims.

VA Community Care staff will be accessing multiple
VistA systems through telnet functionality provided by CAPRI.  They will also
be logging onto FBCS to process claims on multiple VistA systems.  When the
four new menus are installed by patch DVBA*2.7*199, FBCS options Fee Basis
Broker Calls [DSIF FEEBASIS] and Fee Basis Payments [DSIF FEEBASIS PAYMENT]
will be attached to each of these menus.  This integration agreement grants
permission to make these attachments.
