GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
The Enterprise Health MGMT Platform is doing direct
global reads in the Lab Data File (#63) to get the TIU ENTRY POINTER from TIU
REFERENCE DATE/TIME - X where X is the type of report. HMP loops thru
^LR(D0,HMPSUB,D1,.05 and gets the value in the second field on the
^LR(D0,HMPSUB,D1,.05,D2,0) node (HMPSUB is the type of report). The field is a
pointer to the TIU DOCUMEMNT FILE (#8925). This value is then used to lookup
the enter in TIU DOCUMENT FILE (#8925) to get the name of the TIU Document.
HMP also accesses the data nodes, LR(D0,HMPSUB,D1,.1,D2,0 to get the .01
field, SPECIMENT.
This data is collected during the pateint sync processes that sync the local
VistA patient data with the HMP JSON Database System (JDS).

This ICR was retired as of 10/27/17 when HMP was shut down. HMP*2.0*12
released on 10/17/17 is an informational patch outlining the steps for the
sites to shut down the application. If HMP is reactivated in the future, the
HMP project team should review the access provided by this ICR with the
custodial application before the ICR is reactivated.
Discussions between the Lab package resources and HMP contacts identified
possible concerns that eHMP may be getting Lab updates from the protocol but
may not be getting 'AP' updates they are expecting. It was also noted AP
orders are not currently part of CPRS. EHMP was also asked if they knew that
TIU document names are nationally standardized and there is a 1:1 correlation
between the API section and the corresponding TIU Document definition. It was
also noted that not all sites use electronic signature so their AP reports are
stored in the Lab Data file.
These questions and issues were not resolved prior to HMP shutdown on 10/27/17
and the ICR was not activated. It will be retired as part of the HMP shutdown
process. If HMP is reactivated in the future, the access provided by this ICR
should be reviewed with the custodial application to assure HMP is getting the
Lab data the application needs.
