The PCE utility PXQ PRIMARY PROVIDER REPAIR searches
for encounters that do not have a primary provider and when one is found tries
to set the primary provider. In some cases, an occasion of service created by
Radiology may not have been linked to the corresponding Radiology Exam, data
element: 70.03, 27. In this situation, the utility will work to establish the
link by matching the patient's Exam Date and Time to the Visit Date and Time,
the Radiology Imaging Location to the Visit's Hospital Location, and the
Radiology Procedure to one of the Procedures for the occasion of service. If
all of these conditions are met, it is considered a match and PCE sets data
element 70.03, 27 to the Visit pointer using FileMan.
This will be effective with patch PX*1*211.
