GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The CDS Platform provides a base infrastructure with
scalability for other applications to develop on. Teams can build clinical
applications and register them on the existing SMART on FHIR (SoF) container
to launch and deploy to VA sites. The platform has several capabilities that
facilitate the seamless transfer of patient data between EHR and applications.
For each application on the platform, the SoF container will launch a SMART on
FHIR application via URL, sync clinical context with CPRS and handle
authentication and authorization of users.

CLINICAL DECISION SUPPORT PLATFORM

Added 2/14/25, effective with CDSP*1.0*2. After a user
has selected a specific team they are a part of in our application, the ORWTPT
GETTEAM RPC is used by the application to  display all the other team members
to the user. Getting all the team member names will allow one user to onboard
their entire team at once instead of requiring each user to sign up
individually. This RPC will be defined in the CDSP RPC CONTEXT option.
