The patient complains of severe, radiating substernal chest pain, yet
shows no sign of ST segment elevation, straightening or depression, or
T-wave peaking or inversion in either resting or stress test ECG.
The ECG also shows no Q-wave, so inferior infarct is not suspected.
Patient has no history of angina pectoris, or tobacco use, and claims
only moderate alcohol use. Pain is alleviated by administration of
nitroglycerin.
