The HL7 1.6 purge utility does not remove corresponding nodes from the
If you invoke the option manually (but queue it) the purge date
YOU ENTER is used. You will be able to choose whether or not to purge
errors 4-7 (See Below). If you schedule the option on a recurring basis
the purge will retain the last seven days and error status 4-7 will not
be
purged. The default of -7 days can be changed by entering a number (ie,
'-3') in the TASK PARAMETERS fields of the OPTION scheduling file.

Please follow the instructions below to install this patch.
o Review your mapped set. If any of the routines listed in the
routine information section above are mapped, they should be
removed from the mapped set at this time.
o Sign into programmer mode on your production system.
o Ensure that the variables DUZ, DT, DTIME, and U are defined
properly and that the variable DUZ(0)="@".
o Load the routines from the PackMan message.
o Move routines to all systems.
o If routines were unmapped as part of step 1, they should be
returned to the mapped set at this time.
o Users can remain on the system during this install.
