With the development of the Med Order Button for BCMA
version 2.0, BCMA requires the ability to perform direct global reads on the
following fields;
^ORD(101.43,D0,.1)= (#.1) INACTIVATED [1D] Used to validate that the scanned
medication is still active for use as a medication.
^ORD(101.43,D0,0)= (#.01) NAME [1F] Used to display the medication name back
to the user when they scan a medication.
^ORD(101.43,D0,PS)= (#50.1) INPATIENT MED [1S] ^ (#50.2) OUTPATIENT MED [2S]
==>^ (#50.3) IV BASE [3S] ^ (#50.4) IV ADDITIVE [4S] ^
==>(#50.5) SUPPLY [5S] ^ (#50.6) NON-FORMULARY [6S] ^ Used to
determine that the medication scanned is marked for Inpatient Med and if the
med is an IV base or additive.
"ID" cross-reference file to determine if the drug scanned is not in the CPRS
orderable item file.
