| GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
Patch TIU*1*144, CONSULTS WITH MISMATCHED PATIENTS,
generates a list of TIU Consult documents whose patient differs from the
patient of the associated Consult Request. The site is asked to clean up the
patient mismatches for these documents. So far as we know, the software
errors which created these mismatches have all been corrected, so we expect
this cleanup effort to be a one-time effort, though it may take the site some
time.
When displaying these documents in a list, TIU needs to provide enough
information on each document for the site to identify and locate the document
and the associated Consult Request. For this, TIU needs to read fields .02,
1, 5, and 8.
Also, TIU needs to identify on the list any documents which are linked on the
Consults side with a request in addition to or different from the request with
which the document is linked on the TIU side. So far as we know, this
situation occurs only when sites have edited file GMR(123 with FileMan. It
causes the appropriate TIU cleanup action, LINK WITH REQUEST, to misbehave.
In such cases, the patch asks sites to request help from NVS. For this, TIU
needs to read the "R" cross-reference on field 50, ASSOCIATED RESULTS.
Amendment: Added 10/12/22, effective with patch TIU*1.0*354 the Community Care
Referrals and Authorization (CCRA) project uses the CPRS STATUS field to reset
the status to its original state once a CCRA note is filed with the consult.
