GENERAL DESCRIPTION 
Fee Basis Claims System reads fields from the
REQUEST/CONSULTATION file to gather a list of consults to display to the Fee
Basis staff to assist in the creation of authorizations for care related to
consults requests. The Fee Basis Claims System application will also extract
this information in a discrete format to help pre-populate the authorization
with information already present in the consult to assist in accuracy and
workflow.
