The A&SP CLINIC WORKLOAD file (#509850.7) contains each month's capitation statistics. Data in this file are used to compile statistics which includes a display of total and unique visits by zip code, procedure, and disease code for any specified month. Data in this file SHOULD NOT be altered through the use of VA FileMan; input should take place ONLY through the QUASAR menu options. Per VHA Directive 10-93-142, this file definition SHOULD NOT be modified.

DESCRIPTION: The CDR TOTAL PAID HOURS field contains the total number of paid hours for the service for the month. This field contains the total paid hours for all staff members assigned to the service as FTEE including secretarial or
clerical staff. This total does NOT include students or trainees. Supervisors need to be aware that total paid hours are not always the number of FTEE times the number of paid hours in the month. The total paid hours
must be calculated carefully when there are LWOP hours or when the staff are on flexible hours or irregular tours of duty.

The CPT field is a multiple field containing procedure data for capitation statistics for a specific month. This includes CPT-4 codes, total patient count, unique patient count, stop code, and demographic data.
The ZIP CODE field is a multiple field containing demographic data for capitation statistics for a specific month. This includes zip code, C and P visit totals, total patient count, unique patient count, and stop code.
The CDR field is a multiple field containing CDR data for workload statistics for a specific month. This includes the CDR cost account and the percentage of workload associated with that cost account.
