GENERAL DESCRIPTION

To support the J2EE middle tier the concept of a
APPLICATION PROXY user was created. This is a user name that an application
sets that has an user class of Application Proxy. It will not have Access or
Verify codes, no Primary Menu. It will have one or more Secondary Menu items.
The RPC's that the menu items point to must have the APP PROXY ALLOWED field
set to Yes.

APPLICATION PROXY names used by Class I software must be approved by the DBA.

is the FM access code. (Can not be "@") option can be the name of an option

that are passed by reference.

There is a background Integrated Billing job as part of the IIU effort that files entries into the INSURANCE VERIFICATION PROCESSOR (#355.33) file for user processing. This proxy will be recorded as the user who created the entry in file #355.33.
VIRTUAL PATIENT RECORD
HEALTH MANAGEMENT PLATFORM	eHMP has been added as a subscriber to ICR #4677 for HMP v.2.0. HMP will be creating a single proxy user called HMP,APPLICATION PROXY. This user is assigned two Broker (Client/Server) type options, HMP UI CONTEXT and HMP SYNCHRONIZATION CONTEXT, as secondary menu options. HMP SYNCHRONIZATION CONTEXT option manages access to RPCs responsible for synchronization of eHMP data with VistA. HMP UI CONTEXT option allows the HMP UI access to the VistA system. **************************************************** HMP's subscription to this ICR expired on 10/27/17 with the shutdown of HMP. HMP2.012 released on 10/17/17 is an informational patch outlining the steps for the sites to shut down the application. If HMP is reactivated in the future, the HMP project team should review the access provided by this ICR with the custodial application before reactivating HMP's subscription to this ICR. This application needs the ability to refill prescriptions when a patient calls into the contact center.
