DIRECTIONS |
1) COMBINE FIRST LISTING SALT AND PEPPER WITH FLOUR. DREDGE STEAKS IN MIXTURE.
2) BROWN STEAKS ON BOTH SIDES ON GRILL. PLACE IN PANS. SET ASIDE.
3) RECONSTITUTE PEPPERS AND ONIONS IN WATER.
4) ADD GARLIC TO PEPPERS AND ONIONS. SAUTE MIXTURE IN MARGARINE UNTIL TENDER.
5) COMBINE REMAINING INGREDIENTS WITH SAUTEED VEGETABLES, MIX THOROUGHLY.
6) EVENLY DISTRIBUTE LIQUID AND VEGETABLES OVER BROWNED STEAKS IN PANS.
7) COVER PANS AND BAKE AT 325 DEGREES FOR 2 HOURS. UNCOVER PANS AND CONTINUE
BAKING FOR 30 MINUTES MORE, BASTING OCCAISIONALLY.
8) SERVE SAUCE OVER STEAKS.
