DIRECTIONS |
1) COOK TURKEY BREAST AND SLICE; SET ASIDE.
6) RECONSTITUTE MILK WITH THIRD WATER ENTRY. HEAT MILK TO BELOW BOILING
AND BLEND INTO ROUX.
7) CHOP MUSHROOMS. STIR INTO SAUCE.
8) ADD SMALL AMOUNT OF SAUCE TO SLIGHTLY BEATEN EGGS. MIX TO DISTRIBUTE.
POUR EGG MIXTURE INTO REMAINING SAUCE AND BLEND THOROUGHLY.
9) SPLIT CUT CORNBREAD. PLACE ONE SLICE OF TURKEY BETWEEN CORNBREAD.
COVER WITH 2 OZ SAUCE.
2) SIFT TOGETHER CORNMEAL, FLOUR SUGAR, SALT, BAKING POWDER AND NON-
FAT DRIED MILK.
3) MELT SHORTENING; COMBINE WITH FIRST WATER ENTRY AND EGGS. ADD TO
SIFTED MIXTURE. MIX ONLY UNTIL DRY INGREDIENTS ARE MOISTENED.
MEASURE HALF OF MIXTURE INTO EACH OF TWO PANS. BAKE FOR 20 MINUTES.
AT 375 F DEGREES. COOL, MARK AND CUT EACH PAN INTO 50 SERVINGS.
4) COMBINE MARGARINE AND FLOUR TO FORM ROUX.
5) COMBINE SOUP BASE WITH SECOND WATER ENTRY.
