| 1090 | DBIA1090 | Other | CONSULT/REQUEST TRACKING | 1994/12/14 | APPROVED | Active | Private | The Medicine developers and the Consult/Request Tracking developers have agreed to remove the GMRCACT NEW PATIENT protocol (child) as an item from the GMRCACTM MEDICINE PKG MENU protocol (parent) in the Consult/ Request Tracking package. The functionality provided in the GMRCACT NEW PATIENT protocol as an item in the GMRCACTM MED PKG MENU is not appropriate within the defined context of the Medicine package and removing this item will ensure that users are not prompted twice for selecting a patient. The routine MCFIXOEP, has been developed and will be included in the pre-installation process for Medicine V2.2 which will remove the protocol item. The Consult/Request Tracking developers will remove the GMRCACT NEW PATIENT protocol item from future versions of Consults. |

| 3983 | DBIA3983 | File | CONSULT/REQUEST TRACKING | 2003/02/24 | APPROVED | Active | Private | 123 | Patch TIU*1*144, CONSULTS WITH MISMATCHED PATIENTS, generates a list of TIU Consult documents whose patient differs from the patient of the associated Consult Request. The site is asked to clean up the patient mismatches for these documents. So far as we know, the software errors which created these mismatches have all been corrected, so we expect this cleanup effort to be a one-time effort, though it may take the site some time. When displaying these documents in a list, TIU needs to provide enough information on each document for the site to identify and locate the document and the associated Consult Request. For this, TIU needs to read fields .02, 1, 5, and 8. Also, TIU needs to identify on the list any documents which are linked on the Consults side with a request in addition to or different from the request with which the document is linked on the TIU side. So far as we know, this situation occurs only when sites have edited file GMR(123 with FileMan. It causes the appropriate TIU cleanup action, LINK WITH REQUEST, to misbehave. In such cases, the patch asks sites to request help from NVS. For this, TIU needs to read the "R" cross-reference on field 50, ASSOCIATED RESULTS. Amendment: Added 10/12/22, effective with patch TIU*1.0*354 the Community Care Referrals and Authorization (CCRA) project uses the CPRS STATUS field to reset the status to its original state once a CCRA note is filed with the consult. |

| 7426 | API to determine if an IFC involves Cerner | Routine | CONSULT/REQUEST TRACKING | 2023/05/05 | Pending | Controlled Subscription | When an addendum belonging to an Inter-Facility Consult involving Cerner is deleted, HL7 notification of that event is not transmitted to Cerner. Patch GMRC*3*189 creates a mechanism to correct this. A GMRC function provides an API that can be called to determine if a consult is an IFC involving Cerner. |

| 7536 | Populate REQUEST/CONSULTATION file (#123) | File | CONSULT/REQUEST TRACKING | 2025/04/15 | APPROVED | Active | Private | 123 | Patch RMPR*3*217 implements a Prosthetics orders interface separate from the IFC interface to receive and process orders entered in Cerner. VistA supports Prosthetics operations on converted sites. The new interface creates the files used by VistA Prosthetics and its GUI counterparts (e.g., Advanced Prosthetics Acquisition Tool (APAT)). These files include the REQUEST/CONSULTATION file. |
